The X51 2021 Air Race championships is a time trial air race between gates using the free T-51 module that comes with the base sim. There will be four courses, with three runs of each course in total and a 5 minute practice session on each course before the official runs begin.
Race Rules and Scoring
The main event will consist of four courses. Each course will be completed three times for every competitor and their fastest time taken. Points are awarded for the top three fastest times on each course. The points are:
- Fastest time: 3 points
- Second Fastest: 2 points
- Third Fastest: 1 point
If there is a tie between first or second place by the end of the event, all course times are summed for the competitors in the tie, and the place awarded to the competitor with the fastest total time.
